Sfc front will fizzle fairly close to the Downeast coast with high temps on Thu remaining in the u30s to around 40 over portions of the Crown and u40s to near 50F over interior Downeast. By the start of the period sfc low will be heading toward Labrador as initial wave moves toward the North Atlantic. some spotty rain showers will still be possible over the far north while Downeast remains dry. Low pressure lifting northeast through Quebec will maintain a mild southwesterly breeze overnight tonight keeping temperatures above freezing across most of the area and a mostly cloudy sky. By late today low level temps should be warm enough for just plain rain showers over the northern half of the region as temperatures rise into the mid to upper 30s north with 40s expected Downeast. This will bring increasing clouds and a chance for some spotty light rain or snow, and possibly patchy light freezing rain, across the north during the midday hours. Low pressure tracking to our northwest will lift a warm front across the region around midday today. The cold air and moisture trapped in the low levels may allow patchy freezing fog, hoar frost and haze to develop across parts of the region early this morning. High pressure across the area has allowed a cold low level stable layer to form as warmer air lifting into the region from the southwest slides over this cold layer. Temperatures will be in the 40s to low 50s. The warm air remains in place Thursday with some sunshine. Rainfall will amount to less than a tenth of an inch. Temps will not decrease tonight as the warm front crosses with rain. Reduced PoPs for this morning and therefore eradicated mention of freezing rain. Expect this inversion to break quickly with temps climbing into the upper 30s to lower 40s.

12Z CAR RAOB revealed a very steep low level inversion. Low pressure will approach from the west on Monday. High pressure will build south of the area Saturday into Sunday. Another low will approach on Thursday and track across the region Friday. Low pressure will track northwest of the area today into tonight.
